Interesting that many potential buyers are unaware that congress has extended and expanded the Homebuyer Tax Credit program. As of Dec. 1, 2009 qualifying first time home buyers are entitled to an $8,000 tax credit and current homeowners $6,500! The buyer must have a contract to purchase ratified by April 30th, 2010 and it must settle by June 30th 1020.
